The spacious setting, with lots of different levels, is really lovely and charming (be prepared to go up and down a lot of steps every day). The room by the pool was roomy, comfy, clean, and pleasant, with a nice terrace and wonderful bed. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating. It would be nice if the terrace doors and...

We thought the hotel was wonderful, the room was big and comfy. The a/c was super cold and we loved the view of the pool from the balcony. We reallly loved the Rum Shack, my husband had a Lazy Burger which he says was awsome, and I had a Maji Maji Wrap which was delicious! So the food was excellent....

I stayed at the Lazy Parrot twice recently in June and August and enjoyed my stay on both occasions. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff friendly and helpful. On both visits I had a very nice room, well appointed and extremely clean, with a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was included and the hotel is well situated for all...

My wife and I booked this trip based on the reviews here on tripadvisor and expedia and boy were we pleased. We stayed in one of the newer rooms on the third floor - beautiful room, great bathroom, wall-mounted A/C, super comfortable bed as well as a great view of the pool. The pool was the perfect size and temperature...

this hotel is a must do if you are looking for a out of the ordinary quiet and peaceful vacation. the rooms are spectacular the views are extraordinary. Steve was a gracious man and a wonderful source of information for things to see and do while we were there. Smiley the bartender was great and took wonderful care of us...

If they keep treating me the way they do, I won't get to see any other hotel in the area.

I was ready to write this review the day I got to the hotel, but Trip Advisor isn't cellphone friendly. I'm a local from the east of the island, and choose The Lazy Parrot for my little getaways, usually once a year. I absolutely love the place, and if I were ever to open a hotel of my own, I'd...

The staff was very helpful and the room was nice and comfortable! If you are the type to take the road less traveled, this is it - not San Juan...which offers manicured stays. Renting a car is a must here if you'd like to see all that PR has to offer. I would highly recommend the Lazy Parrot Inn, customer...

I booked 6 nights for a romantic November '09 trip 4/28/09. Trip was paid for and confirmed. On 6/28/09 I was informed that the Lazy Parrot had cancelled my reservation. It took some doing but I finally found out they cancelled me to allow a wedding party to book the entire resort. Money talks....customer service walks...I've never been treated like...

In response to totally dissatisfied. When this reservation was received (April 28) by our office, the .com travel wholesaler that booked this reservation was informed that no space was available and that the dates/rooms in question had been closed out with the wholesaler since Jan 4, 2009 (yes, for a wedding) 3 months prior to this reservation being made. This...

Looks are deceiving, judging from the street entrance you wouldn't believe how big and pretty this place is. The place is a tourist haven, but as a local: even though this place caters mainly to tourist, I would recommend it to other fellow locals especially as a romantic or relaxing getaway plus you get a lot for you buck. You...

We scheduled our vacation to Rincon and The Lazy Parrot after winning a free 2-night stay at a travel expo. Tacking on an additional 6 nights, our stay at "The Parrot" was 9 days/8nights of nothing but complete relaxation and enjoyment. Chock full of character, this place is designed as a maze of walkways through gardens and grottos, with hidden...
