There are 2 categories and 2 winners. 

Category One is Best Lazy Parrot Photograph.  The winner will be judged on creativity and capturing a scene at the Lazy Parrot Mini Resort in Rincon, Puerto Rico.

Category Two is Best Rincon, Puerto Rico Photograph.  The winner will be judged on creativity and capturing a scene that captures the beauty and essence of this island town.

Opening night of the 4th Annual Film Festival was amazing. The Lazy Parrot Restaurant had a spread of pastas and Italian meatballs as well as vegetarian fare. Animated children’s films, which included Ormie the Pig was a complete hit with the audience. Altercations with Canadian actress Andrea Fletcher in attendance and the Lovebirds rounded out the adult portion of the evening. Asta conference goers attended as well as filmmakers from Canada , Spain and Puerto Rico . The New York Film Academy representatives were also on hand with 2 scholarships. Winners will to be announced at the closing ceremonies on Saturday. All in all, a great way to start the festivities that are running all week in Rincon.

• First, you have to go to a laboratory and take the blood tests.
  Cost is approximately $80.00 a person. It takes 3 to 5 business days to get the results.
• Once you have the labratory results, you have to go to the local "registro demográfico" with the blood tests.
  You will need a $20.00 stamp (sello) that you get from the "Colecturía" to get the marriage license,
• After this, you can go to the "tribunal, sala de jueces" to get the license approved.
• With your approved license, you can get married at the same office - or make arrangements with a pastor to get married. Local ministers generally charge approximately $250 (200.00 for his services and 50.00 for use of the church).
• Once the ceremony is completed, you'll receive a call from "registro demográfico" letting you know that your marriage certificate is ready.
