Events in Puerto Rico tend to be organized at the last minute - but we'll post events as soon as we hear about them to help you with your vacation planning!

2010

Winter through Spring - Surf's Up.... Surfing season starts in December and runs through March or April, depending on the waves... Head to the lighthouse or anywhere on The Sunset Coast or Fun Coast and watch the action!

January 6th - Three King's Day is when children get their gifts in Puerto Rico. Kids will be gathering grass the day before to place in a box under their bed so that the Three Kings will leave them a gift in exchange for food for the horses.

January to March - Whalewatching Season - head to the lighthouse to watch the annual migration where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic Ocean.

April 20 - 25 - Rincon International Film Festival - home base for the festival is The Lazy Parrot, so make your reservations early! Check the exact dates and full schedule at www.rinconfilm.com.

June - Tríalo Rincoeño {Rincon Triathlon}. Check details for this year's Triathlon at www.triathlon.org.

July - July is Vacation Month in Puerto Rico - plan early and enjoy the most popular month of the year for local residents and visitors to enjoy Rincon's sun & fun!

July 17 - August 1- Central American and Caribbean Sport Games - Mayaguez 2010. Check the website for nearby venues at www.mayaguez2010.com

August - Patron Saint Festival. Rincón's patron saint is Saint Rosa of Lima and the town celebrates on the weekend closest to August 30th each year.
