Celebrating its 25th year, the Rincón Triathlon is the best-known in
the Caribbean. The Rincón Triathlon, Inc., with the Puerto Rico
Triathlon Federation, invites all qualified Triathlon Athletes to
compete for the Fourth Caribbean Cup with Olympic distance and ITU
points. This competition will be held in our beautiful beach town,
Rincón, Puerto Rico, in June.

The Rincon Triathlon began in 1982, as an athletic activity by the
Rincon Community Youth Center and Dr. Hector Nazario, on behalf of
the Rincon Rural Health Initiative Project. It was so popular with
the town community that it was repeated the following year as part
of the activities related to the Santa Rosa Festival. After this
successful second event, the Rincon Triathlon became an annual event
and grew in size and popularity with the Triathlete community - held
on the second Sunday of June.

PUERTO RICO SURF TOURS
operates in NW Puerto Rico from november til april. (the prime
surf season). As cold fronts come off the eastern United
States they send swells down to the Caribbean especially Rincon,
Agaudilla and Isabella, PR. (NW corner of island).
Puerto Rico is the "Hawaii of the East coast" for
surfing. World class waves, that surfers from all over the
world come to ride each winter. If you know where to go, you
can save valuable water time, especially if your trip is less
than 10 days.
